Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026Last updated: 9 August 2026
This Cookie Policy describes cookies and related browser storage used by TaxMoovas implemented in the current product. Last updated 9 August 2026.
Supabase authentication storage
Supabase Auth stores session tokens in localStorage so you can remain signed in and refresh authentication securely. This storage is required for account features.
sessionStorage
During Google sign-in, TaxMoov may temporarily store a post-login return path in sessionStorage (taxmoov_oauth_return_to). It is cleared after use.
localStorage (planning workflow)
Planning selections may be stored locally, including:
- origin country selection;
- selected destinations;
- pricing tier selection; and
- questionnaire currency preference where set.
These keys help the multi-step planning flow remember your place.
Analytics cookies (optional)
When configured, TaxMoov may use Google Analytics 4 and, if you allow advertising/marketing, Google advertising measurement technologies for campaign attribution, conversion measurement, and remarketing where permitted. Non-essential analytics and advertising cookies/storage are off by default until you choose. You can select Accept all, Necessary only, or Manage preferences (Analytics and Advertising/Marketing independently). Change your choice later via Cookie preferences in the site footer.
Your choice is stored in localStorage as taxmoov_analytics_consent. We use Google Advanced Consent Mode v2 with defaults denied for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization until you grant the matching preference. While relevant consent is denied, Google may still perform limited cookieless measurement permitted by Consent Mode; normal analytics/advertising cookies are not set for those denied categories. TaxMoov does not implement Meta Pixel, PostHog, or similar third-party advertising pixels beyond Google tags configured for this product.
Measurement is designed to exclude personal identifiers such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, report or order IDs, Stripe identifiers, authentication codes, questionnaire answers, and precise personal tax results. GA4 is not claimed to be anonymous; Google may process technical identifiers subject to Google's terms and your consent choices. This summary should be reviewed by counsel before relying on it as legal advice.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or reopen Cookie preferences from the footer to accept or reject analytics. Clearing authentication storage will sign you out. Clearing planning localStorage keys may reset funnel selections.
