Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026Last updated: 9 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TaxMoov handles personal information when you use https://www.taxmoov.com/ and related services.
Privacy questions: support@taxmoov.com.
Who operates TaxMoov
TaxMoov is operated under the TaxMoov product brand. The operating legal entity that acts as controller for personal information can be confirmed by contacting support@taxmoov.com.
Personal data collected
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- name and email address;
- account credentials (for email/password accounts);
- relocation, tax and financial questionnaire answers;
- reports and planning outputs associated with your account;
- telephone or WhatsApp numbers, preferred contact method, time zone and preferred consultation windows when you request Expert Review;
- support messages you send to us; and
- technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
Expert Review contact information
When you submit an Expert Review request, TaxMoov stores the contact details you provide — including email and, where you choose telephone or WhatsApp, your telephone number — so we can arrange a consultation and prepare for the review.
WhatsApp is used only when you select it as a preferred contact method. Submitted decision summaries, priority questions and additional circumstances are stored in TaxMoov's database to prepare for the professional review and are not placed in payment-provider metadata.
Consultation-request information is retained under the same storage and retention principles as account and report data. You may request deletion of your account and associated consultation-request records by contacting support@taxmoov.com.
Google sign-in identity data
If you choose “Continue with Google”, authentication is handled through Supabase Auth using Google as an identity provider. TaxMoov does not receive your Google password.
When authorised by you, we may receive basic identity information such as:
- name;
- email address;
- profile image; and
- a Google account identifier.
TaxMoov requests only basic authentication scopes. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars or other Google content.
Google identity information is used for authentication, account creation, account security, connecting your login identity to your TaxMoov account, and providing the service you requested.
You can revoke access in your Google Account third-party permissions settings. After revoking access, contact support@taxmoov.com if you need help with account closure.
Questionnaire and report information
Questionnaire inputs and generated reports are stored in the application database and associated with your account so you can reopen them from your dashboard. You can delete individual reports from your dashboard.
Where specialist review is arranged for a selected report, relevant materials may be shared with the reviewer engaged for that work.
Service providers
Personal information may be processed by providers used to run the product:
- Supabase (authentication and application database);
- Vercel (application hosting);
- Google (optional sign-in identity provider via Supabase Auth);
- Stripe (hosted Checkout for one-time report packages);
- Google Analytics 4 and optional Google advertising measurement (consent-gated via Advanced Consent Mode v2);
- OpenAI (server-side report narrative generation); and
- Google Gemini (server-side report verification assistance).
AI providers may process questionnaire and report content on the server to generate narrative text or assist verification checks.
How information is used
We use personal information to:
- create and secure accounts;
- operate questionnaires and generate reports;
- display and store your planning work in the product;
- contact you by email, telephone or WhatsApp about Expert Review bookings when you request that service and give contact consent;
- provide customer support;
- maintain security and diagnose faults; and
- improve product reliability and modelling quality.
TaxMoov does not sell personal information. Optional Google Analytics 4 may be used for usage and conversion measurement only after you accept analytics cookies/storage. Optional Google advertising/marketing measurement may be enabled only if you accept Advertising/Marketing preferences (Advanced Consent Mode v2). Preferences can be changed later via Cookie preferences in the footer. Analytics and marketing tags are configured not to receive names, contact details, authentication tokens, report/order/Stripe identifiers, questionnaire answers, or precise personal tax results. Google may still process technical and campaign data under its terms when tags load; we do not claim GA4 measurement is anonymous. Counsel should review this wording before launch reliance.
Legal bases (where applicable)
Where laws that use legal bases apply, we process personal information as needed to provide the service you request, to operate and secure the platform, and where required to comply with law. Where consent is required for a specific activity, we will seek it.
International processing
Cloud infrastructure and AI providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Contact support@taxmoov.com if you need hosting details for your account.
Storage and retention principles
We retain account, questionnaire and report information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your dashboard history, meet security and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We do not publish a fixed multi-year retention schedule in this policy.
Security
We use established authentication, database access controls and cloud hosting. No online service can guarantee perfect security. See the Security & Data page for a plain-language overview.
User privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email support@taxmoov.com with enough detail for us to locate your account. We may need to verify your identity.
Account and data deletion requests
You can delete individual reports from your dashboard. The current product does not include a self-serve full account-deletion button. To request account closure or deletion of account-associated personal data, contact support@taxmoov.com.
Children
TaxMoov is intended for adults who can enter into a binding agreement. It is not directed at children. Contact support@taxmoov.com if you believe a child has provided personal information.
